A Christian's Proper Reaction to Abortionists Christians should take note, Jesus was quite familiar with hypocritical worshipers, telling them to cast the first stone to begin the execution of the adulteress, . . . IF . . . he or she was without sin. All the potential executioners sort of slunk away.(2) Each knew they were full of sin. Abortionists and mother's who murder their babies are sinners just like the rest of us. They are not a special class of sinners. They need a Savior and a new heart given to them by God, before they are ABLE to turn from their sin, just like the rest of us.(3) Pray for them. I am presenting the Biblical perspective so abortionists and mothers who murder their babies might know the truth about God's viewpoint, and not be deceived thinking that He somehow is going to overlook their sin. I doubt if several of the abortionists and mother's who murder their babies truly realize how grievously they are sinning, just as many legislators and abortion supporters don't realize the gravity of their sin. There is very little training in these times that teach our society that God's Law is the overriding rule of law that He will honor and enforce. Abortionists and mothers who murder their babies cannot legitimize their wicked acts with manmade laws that contradict God's Law (Acts 5:29). God wants more worshipers, not less. Abortion is not only disobedient to the Law of our Master, but each murder of any type eliminates a worshiper of His without His permission. The Bible shows that He is especially upset when His babies are exterminated. The Scriptures concerning baby and child sacrifice are direct and quite hard to misinterpret. But, no worshiper of God's should use this or any other explanation of Scripture as an excuse to harass, injure, ridicule, mock, or murder abortionists or mothers who murder their babies. You would not go track down and execute any other murderer to gain justice. You would not search for a child molester and lynch him. You would respect our system of government and let the courts prosecute criminals. As an aside, our court system is just as disobedient to God as any of our nation's citizens, and based on this, our court system isn't really fit to judge. How can the disobedient cast punishment on the disobedient? This was the point of Jesus asking who could cast the first stone. Many don't realize that God has commanded judges (our court system) to execute many types of offenders:
The court's disobedience (in response to our legislature) is directly responsible for the huge increase in lawlessness in our country. Criminals have little fear of the courts. Yet, some form of order is better than disorder, so we cannot abandon or disrespect the court system. We must also pray for our government. It is full of sin. Those who would hunt down abortionists to punish them for their murder, should rethink their position in light of all these offences where God has commanded the punishment to be execution. According to this biblical list, everyone of us know family members or friends that deserve execution. If you are not going to defend God's honor by punishing those in your family or those who are your friends, who are guilty of a capital crime, then don't be a hypocrite by zealously exacting punishment upon strangers who are guilty of capital crime. Besides, God is not impotent; He can execute abortionists and mothers who murder their babies if He chooses. He does not need you to be His instrument of punishment. Capital punishment has been assigned to the government and the courts. If they will not do what they are commanded to do, it is up to God to deal with the medical sinner, the parental sinner, and the judicial sinner. Your part is to demand government adopt laws that reflect God's Law, to vote disobedient officials out of office, and to demand the government punish murders and any other capital offender as God commanded. Abortion is murder and as such, is under the heading of the sixth commandment. There are five commandments that precede the sin of murder, which are more important to God.(5) That is why He listed them according to His priority. If you want to defend the honor of God, you might first stop your own sinning, stop sin in your family, your neighborhood, your church and your place of employment. When you accomplish all this, then you might begin with the sin that angers God the most -- worshiping other gods -- breaking the first commandment. Convince people to vote the living God as the only God that is recognized in this nation. After you accomplish this, then you might work your way down to murder, one commandment at a time. Despite the social acceptance of abortion in the United States, the brutal massacre of innocent life is still sin! God will punish murder as murder, not as the polite mediacl procedure of 'abortion'.
If you are currently a practicing abortionist, if you earn any part of your living off the abortion industry, if you are a seeker of abortion, if you are an encourager of abortion, if you are a supporter of abortion and you would like to have a relationship with Jesus Christ that will result in you going to Heaven, there is a cost. You must abandon the murder of God's babies. It IS sin. God does not wink at sin! You must obey God's Law, just like you must obey the rules of another while you are a guest in his home. We are guests on God's property. Now that you know the cost, if you still want to have a relationship with Jesus Christ, then read "An Offer From Jesus Christ".
