Jesus is much more than just the Savior and Master.
This week's Bible study shows Jesus' role as our
Lamb. Part 2.
Let's begin by noting some characteristics of THE LAMB:
- He takes away sin
- He is worshiped in Heaven
- He is Purity, which is imputed to His people
- He is Lord of all
- He is King of all
- He is ever victorious in conflict
- He is Husband to His Church
- He is Judge, and commands one to Heaven, or to Hell
John 1
:29 The next day John sees Jesus coming to him, and said, Behold the Lamb of God, which takes
away the sin of the world.
:36 And looking on Jesus as he walked, he said, Behold the Lamb of God!
Revelation 5
:6 And I beheld, and, see, in the middle of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the
middle of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes,
which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
:8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down
before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odors, which
are the prayers of saints.
:12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and
riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing.
:13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth,
and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them,
[I heard] saying, Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, be to him that sits on the throne,
and to the Lamb for ever and ever.
Revelation 6
:1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise
of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.
:16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him
that sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
Revelation 7
:9 After this I beheld, and, see, a great multitude, which no man could number, of
all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before
the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
:10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sits on the throne,
and to the Lamb.
:14 And I said to him, Sir, you know. And he said to me, These are they which came out
of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of
the Lamb.
:17 For the Lamb which is in the middle of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead
them to living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
Revelation 12
:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of
their testimony; and they loved not their lives to the death.
Revelation 13
:8 And all that dwell on the earth shall worship him,
whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the
foundation of the world.

Revelation 14
:1 And I looked, and, see, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty
and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.
:4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they
which follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These were redeemed from among men, being the
first fruits to God and to the Lamb.
:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without
mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone
in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
Revelation 15
:3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying,
Great and marvelous are your works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are your ways, you
King of saints.
Revelation 17
:14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall
overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they
that are with him are called, and chosen, and
faithful.
Revelation 19
:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is
come, and his wife has made herself ready.
:9 And he said to me, Write, Blessed are they which are called to the marriage supper
of the Lamb. And he said to me, These are the true sayings of God.
Revelation 21
:9 And there came to me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the
seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come here, I will show you the bride,
the Lamb's wife.
:14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve
apostles of the Lamb.
:22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple
of it.
:23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the
glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defiles, neither whatever
works abomination, or makes a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.
Revelation 22
:1 And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of
the throne of God and of the Lamb.
:3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of
God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:

Seven Spirits of God - Isaiah 11:2
- The Spirit of the Lord
- The Spirit of wisdom
- The Spirit of understanding
- The Spirit of counsel
- The Spirit of might
- The Spirit of knowledge
- The Spirit of the fear of the LORD
The Lamb (Jesus) has total command of the most powerful Spirits that have been loosed into
the earth.
Philippians 2
:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things
in earth, and things under the earth;
The Bible assures us that EVERY knee (of every creature) will bow to Jesus (The Lamb).
Look at what God is saying. Even those who Jesus (The Lamb)
commands to Hell, WILL WORSHIP HIM!!!
Ephesians 5
:22 Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands, as to the Lord.
:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church:
and he is the savior of the body.
:24 Therefore as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own
husbands in every thing.
:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself
for it;
This Scripture clearly shows Jesus Christ (The Lamb) is spoken of as a Husband to His Church.

Romans 7:4
Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that
ye should be married to another, even to Him who is reaised from the dead, that we
should bring forth fruit unto God.
2 Corinthians 11:2
For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one Husband,
that I may present you a chaste virgin to Christ.
